Dr.Bernard G.Monney
Chairman
Dr. Monney has over 45 years’ experience in Agriculture, including working experience in Research, Finance and Education. He also has 20 years’ experience in IT Governance and Training.
He started his working career at the Animal Research Institute (CSIR), and later joined the Agricultural Development Bank, where held the positions of Head of Research and Planning, Head of IT Department, and Executive Head of Strategic Policy Coordinating Unit. He is currently Senior Lecturer (Part-time) at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, University of Ghana, Legon, and has lectured part-time for more than 20 years.
Dr. Monney holds a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture (Ghana) and Ph.D. Agricultural Economics from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada.
Dr Monney has rich experience in Corporate Governance, and previously served as Board Member, Metro Mass Transit Ltd. and Member of Governing Council, Trinity Theological Seminary.
He is married with two daughters.
Shika Acolatse
Non-Executive Director
Shika has over 30 years experience in SME development, Project Management, Government Relations, training and management, both locally and internationally which has in turn earned her some accolades. She has also successfully designed and implemented other entrepreneurship and capacity building programs for the economic benefit of food insecure regions in Ghana and has taught aspects of entrepreneurship to rural Tanzanian and Ghanaian youth.
Shika holds an MBA in Finance and Risk Management from the Netherlands Business School and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Entrepreneurship and SME Management, from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
She is a Faculty Member of the Rotary Leadership Institute of Ghana and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administration.
Caroline Reindorf
Non-Executive Director
Caroline has over 26 years’ experience spanning from Banking, corporate relationships management, project financing, credot assessment to international trade transactions. Caroline has also worked as Chief Finance Officer of the Jospong Group mainly to collate and coordinate the performance of subsidiaries under the Group.
She has extensive board level experience, having previously served on the Board of companies such as Jospong Group, Omni Bank, Appointed Time screen printing Ltd and since 2019 as Executive Board. Director of the Perez Chapel International. She holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Caroline is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana) and a Member of the Institute of Financial Services (UK).
Joseph Asare Jr.
Non-Executive Director
Joseph has 13 progressive years of working experience in the Shipping, Terminal Operations, Logistics, Project Management,
Supply Chain and Agribusiness projects both locally and internationally.
With his cross functional experience, he managed commercial, business development, operations and finance as well as project management teams in Africa, Europe and the middle east, in countries such as Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya. Denmark, Netherlands and Dubai.
Joseph is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), a Member of the Project Management Institute and a Certified DiSC trainer with Wiley Network.
Martin Nantwi
Non-Executive Director
Martin has over 30 years’ experience in the areas of Project Management, Business Planning, Finance Management having worked with international Chemicals Company, Wealth management multi-nationals and international tobacco manufacturing companies as well as the public sector.
He has experience at the Board level having previously served as Board Chairman of Boart Lonyear Pension and Golden Beach Hotels and most recently as a Board Member of Trojan Power (M&J Audit Services and Consulting).
Martin holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Accountancy, from the University of Kent (UK) and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Certified member of the Chartered Information Systems Auditor.
Michael Owusu
Non-Executive Director
Michael is Aguila Holdings’ new Group Head of Supply Chain Management. He has over 20 years’ SCM experience across
diverse industries; from banking, oil & gas, to telecommunications.
He is specialised in the areas of strategic cost saving initiatives, operational excellence, strategic sourcing, contract management, logistics and warehousing, working with multinationals.
Michael has an MBA from Purdue University in Indiana, USA, and a BA in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS –
UK) and a member of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM)
